High school seniors as well as college students that will be attending West Virginia Wesleyan College for the 2023-2024 academic year are encouraged to apply for the United Methodist District Scholarship.
If awarded a United Methodist District Scholarship at WVWC, the student will receive $2000 total for the 2023-2024 academic year ($1,000 for Fall semester and $1,000 for Spring semester). The district scholarship is funded by the United Methodist Foundation. Seven United Methodist District Scholarships will be awarded to represent the seven new districts of the WV United Methodist Conference. Students are to complete and submit the application along with the requested essay. Please note the deadline to apply for this scholarship is May 1, 2023.
